The first project I decided to tackle was only going to be
small until I knew what I was doing,so chose a picture
by the artist'Tito Corbella"
Corbella was born in Pontremoli,Tuscany in 1885
and died in Rome in 1966
The image is taken from a postcard .
I had to change a few things so it was
suitable for beading.I used the program called
Bead Tool to help me.
This is the preview of the image, that come from the
program,so I am very interested to see
how accurate this program is at picking
the bead colours.
As I have never used it to sort the beads before.
Because of the shape of the beads the tapestry will
be longer than the picture I used.
Next time I will compensate for this,
but you learn from your mistakes.
This photo below is my actual tapestry which is on the loom.
I love the colours and pleased with the way it is going.
I printed out the preview and string the rows of beads
at night while trying to watch a bit of T.V.
All works fine unless I am trying to watch a movie with sub titles.
I then string them the next day onto the loom.
Will keep you updated as I work through my graph.
